Lier municipality, hereafter referred to as the Contracting Authority, invites tenderers to an open tender contest in connection with hire washing of linen and personnel clothing for eight of the municipality's organisation in nursing and welfare, as well as washing of residents' clothing for the municipality's three nursing homes.

Laundry services will be procured for eight organisations in the care sector of Lier municipality. Kitchen, the Rehabilitation agency, Nøstehagen Residential and Care Centre, Liertun Nursing Home and housing facility, Frogner Nursing Home, Bratromveien/Frogner shared housing, Øvre Lier home services and Ytre Lier home services. The framework agreement shall cover the municipality's need for services connected to hire wash of linen for 4 organisations, and hire wash of personnel clothing for all of the named organisations, as well as washing of residents' clothing for Frogner Competence Centre (later Fosshagen), Nøstehagen residential and service centre and Liertun nursing home. Relevant textile categories:

Linen: such as duvet covers, pillowcases, sheets, flat sheets, fitted sheets, bed slide sheets, bedspreads, blankets, night shirts/pyjamas, cloth sacks, underwear, kitchen cloths, tea towels, oven gloves/grill gloves,terry cloth towels, wash cloths, bibs, synthetic duvets and pillows and tablecloths/place-mats in various sizes. There may occasionally be other types of textiles, for example sails for personal lifts, aids etc. The list is not exhaustive.

Occupation textiles: Work attire for staff including nursing staff, doctors, kitchen, canteen and cook.

Private textiles/residents' textiles:

All private textiles for residents, which can be washed at 30, 40, 60 and 90 degrees C. Woollen textiles shall not be washed.

The value of the procurement is estimated to be: 11 000 000 NOK excluding VAT, including hire wash of linen, hire wash of personal clothing and washing of residents' textiles. This is an estimate for 2 years, with option 1 year + 1 year.

The volume is estimated based on statistics and the accounting figures for the procurement of equivalent products for the same buyer group for previous years, as well as future budgets. The value must therefore be considered an estimate and is not binding.

If during the contractual period the Contracting Authority separates part of the operation to it's own legal entities (for example, such as, foundations/trusts etc.) they shall have the option to connect to the signed contract.
