The subject of this award procedure is the conclusion of framework agreements without justification of an acceptance obligation to cover the procurement requirements of those entitled to purchase of brand-new tablet computers (tablets) with Android operating system, including optional maintenance, services and additional contractual services and, if necessary, accessories, which cannot yet be planned and specified in detail. In addition to schools and school bodies, the state capital Wiesbaden, ekom21 and its association members, the districts, cities, municipalities, administrative communities and special-purpose associations in the state of Hesse, including their legally independent and dependent institutions and associations and other forms of cooperation, are entitled to purchase.

The subject of the tender includes the procurement of tablet computers (tablets) with the Android operating system as well as other additional contractual services. It is intended to conclude framework agreements with up to 3 economic operators.

Over the standard term of the framework agreement (cf. Section II.2.7)) of the notice), the client estimates the annual purchase volume at around 2,000 tablet computers (estimated total value). The estimated total value is based on the experience of the last few years including estimated additional requirements, but without any expansion rights (see II.2.11)) of the notice).
