The purpose of this framework agreement is: Maintenance and upgrade works of the research vessel Pourquoi Pas.

The research vessel RV Pourquoi pas? was built in 2005 in Saint-Nazaire (France). She is 107 meter long and she can accommodate up to 40 scientists and 35 seamen. She is used to carry out many multidisciplinary scientific campaigns in all the areas of environmental sciences.

This contract is a framework agreement with purchase order awarded in application of Article L. 2125-1 of the French Public Order Code. The minimum amount of the framework agreement corresponding to services, maintenance and upgrade works previously defined. The maximum amount may not exceed € 14 000 000 excluding taxes.

By way of example, the purchase orders will be for :

all the services required during the works (dry dock, power supply, water supply…).

- maintenance works,

- upgrade works,

- work that could not be anticipated

- interfacing services,

- complete the spare parts stock,

- minor improvements.
