Sønderborg Wastewater Supply wishes to tender a framework agreement for client and project consultancy in connection with the establishment of a new central wastewater treatment plant. Sønderborg Wastewater Supply has been working on a new future wastewater structure, which involves centralising wastewater treatment with the establishment of a new central wastewater treatment plant that will handle wastewater treatment from Sønderborg, Gråsten, Broager and Himmark. The central wastewater treatment plant will thus replace four existing plants. In principle, all technical consultancy services associated with the project can be purchased under the Agreement, although the Agreement is not exclusive or binding on Sønderborg Wastewater Supply. The utility will thus be able to purchase relevant consultancy services from other consultants, and the client consultant is obliged to actively and willingly contribute to the cooperation with these consultants. The contract is provisionally estimated at DKK 20 million.

Sønderborg Wastewater Supply has been working on a new future wastewater structure in Sønderborg Wastewater Supply's supply area with the aim of improving the utility's overall economy and contributing to an environmental improvement of recipients, improving security of supply, increasing flexibility in relation to wastewater management, maintaining service levels for consumers connected to the utility's treatment plants as well as ensuring operational optimization and climate and energy optimization. The future wastewater structure involves centralising wastewater treatment with the establishment of a new central wastewater treatment plant, which will be located at Kær Vestermark north of Sønderborg. This new central wastewater treatment plant will initially handle wastewater treatment from Sønderborg, Gråsten, Broager and Himmark. The central treatment plant thus replaces 4 existing plants, which are closed down immediately after the establishment of the plant, where they are replaced with pumping stations that lead the wastewater through new transport pipes into the planned treatment plant. The final design of the treatment plant, including the architectural expression of the plant, has not yet been determined. The new wastewater treatment plant will be dimensioned for 90,000 p.e. The plant must be capable of extensive treatment of waste water, which includes mechanical, biological and chemical treatment for all classical parameters, i.e. organic matter, nitrogen and phosphorus. The plant will have to comply with a number of discharge requirements, which are significantly stricter in relation to the usual national requirements values from the Wastewater Order, cf. more on this in section 3 of the tender specifications. The client consultant must (to the extent that the client consultant receives instructions to this effect) be able to assist the supply with, among other things, under the Agreement with 1): Concept proposal, 2): Construction programme, 3): Design management, 4): Outline proposal, 5): Project proposal, 6): Authority project, 7): Tender project, 8): Execution project, 9): Execution, 10): Handover. Expectations for the cooperation: Sønderborg Wastewater Supply wants a mutual and involving cooperation, under which the client consultant must involve Sønderborg Wastewater Supply in relation to sparring and choice of solutions for the Project. Sønderborg Wastewater Supply provides a project office at a location in Sønderborg. Staffing by the Client Consultant - must during the periods when work is carried out under the Agreement - take place with at least one project manager and another key employee, who work from the project office for a minimum of 2 days per week (holiday periods and public holidays are exempt). The primary design and project-related activities must take place at the joint project office at the utility. Sønderborg Wastewater Supply wants the client consultancy to be carried out according to overall values such as team spirit, structure and responsibility.
