The Linth 2025 waste incineration plant project includes, among other things, the replacement of the furnace and boiler of furnace line 2, the upgrading of the furnace and boiler furnace line 1 as well as the renewal of the exhaust gas cleaning of both furnace lines. Furthermore, the delivery and interim storage will be renewed and the bunker expanded. The project consists of the main process engineering lots "New firing and boiler furnace line 2 (lot 1.1)", "Upgrading firing and boiler furnace line 1 (lot 1.2)" and "exhaust gas cleaning (lot 2)".

Lot 2 "Exhaust gas cleaning" includes the delivery of the new exhaust gas cleaning system for both lines, with an exhaust gas volume of 47,000 Nm3/h for line 1 and 59,7000 Nm3/h for line 2. The new exhaust gas cleaning system consists of hot gas SCR, condensate preheater, four-stage scrubber (quench with saturator as acidic stage, first packed stumps as neutral stage, aerosol separator and condensation stage), suction draught and chimney with all necessary auxiliary units.
