OP Microscopes HNO Surgery

As part of the negotiation procedure with participation competition, concepts for the equipment of the operating theatres of ear, nose and throat surgery, as well as ophthalmological surgery with mobile, mobile surgical microscopes must be created. It is expected that the latest technical findings will be reproduced, both in the field of eyepieceless systems and in the field of classical optics. Attention must be paid to a balanced relationship between cost-effectiveness and innovation. Furthermore, it must be ensured that all necessary requirements of the Medical Device Regulation are met and that conformity can be demonstrated accordingly.

For additional information, please refer to the annexes to this publication.

Annex 1: contains additional information on the text of the notice

The microscopes are used alternately in different operating theatres, which must be taken into account when it comes to mobility. Due to the application in a patient-oriented environment, the hygienic requirements of the hospital must be observed. The operating theatres are each equipped with a video management system, which should also enable synchronous routing of the image data from the microscope. As a result, a video system with the necessary interfaces must be integrated into the design. In addition to a video output, the system has an integrated display system for displaying the real-time image data during the operation. It should also be possible to record and subsequently archive the image data. Furthermore, it should be noted that it is an academic teaching hospital. Therefore, junior doctors are actively involved in the operation. It should be possible to include them in the work with the microscopes.

Loose 1: OP-Microscopes HNO Surgery

With the help of the microscopes, all operations in the field of ear, nose and throat surgery must be fully feasible. Micromanipulators and corresponding surgical laser systems are also used. The microscopes must be compatible with such systems. The installation takes place in operating theatres where media bridges are installed. Accordingly, the clearance height must not exceed 1980 mm. The scope of the concept are two microscopes.

After successful aptitude testing, the eligible participants will be invited to a briefing on further concept details.

Subsequently, the bidders are expected to submit concept proposals, which will be examined, discussed and evaluated taking into account the evaluation criteria.

Offers are to be created on the basis of the three best concept templates.
