The subject of the procurement is the conclusion of a contract for the delivery and commissioning of a radio-based train control system (CBTC: Communication Based Train Control) with integrated service maintenance (Service Support Agreement) on the underground lines U5 and U8 over the service life (probably 30 years) .
The underground lines U5 and U8 are to be equipped with a radio-based train control system (CBTC) between the beginning of 2023 and the end of 2030, put into operation and functional, operationally reliable and maintained for their service life (probably 30 years).
The service to be provided essentially includes the following items:
- Equipment of the U5 from the main train station to Hönow (currently 26 stations) over a total length of approx. 22 km and the U8 from Hermannstraße to Wittenau (currently 24 stations) over a total length of approx. 18 km with CBTC technology;
- Equipment of AG vehicles (passenger vehicles and work vehicles) with CBTC technology;
- The commissioning and the performance target are carried out according to GoA2. However, the system must be prepared for operation in accordance with GoA4;
- Services for the CBTC system over the service life (approximately 30 years);
- Connection to the control system;
- Delivery of suitable teaching and simulation systems for the training.
