Description:
Metallic lead supply

The subject of the order is the supply of metallic lead with a minimum Pb content of 90% and an acceptable content of impurities together with moisture up to 10%.

In the scope of supply, metallic lead forms, in particular in the following forms, are allowed:

a. wires and cables (without plastic covers),

b. castings, moldings,

c. Pb pieces of metal from shredding and grinding processes,

d. spills.

At the maximum permissible cable diameter 200 mm (for point a) or the maximum permissible solid size 250 mm (for points b, c and d). Pressed molds of base material containing min 90% Pb and max 10% impurities together with moisture are also allowed, with a maximum permissible briquette size of up to 300 mm.

At the maximum permissible cable diameter 200 mm (for point a) or the maximum permissible solid size 250 mm (for points b, c and d). Quantity: 200 tonnes on average per month for a period of 6 months. Total quantity covered: 1,200 tonnes over the duration of the contract.

Place of delivery: Łukasiewicz Research Network - Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals Branch in Legnica, warehouse of input materials of the Experimental Plant of Metallurgy, ul. Złotoryjska 194, 59-220 Legnica (area of the Legnica Smelter), POLAND.

Method of packaging and transport: loose under cover or in bigbags (with the option of agreeing the form of delivery with the Purchaser), delivery using automotive means of transport.

Deliveries will be made at the cost and responsibility of the Contractor using his own means of transport or at his disposal. The Contractor is responsible for maintaining legal transport conditions for the subject of the contract.

Deliveries will be made after prior notification, at least 3 days before the planned date of transport. Notifications of deliveries will be carried out by e-mail to the address of the person responsible for the implementation of the contract.

The cost of loading, transport and insurance for transport is borne by the Contractor. Unloading the subject of the contract belongs to the Employer. The Purchaser has the right to refuse acceptance of the material in cases of:

a) when it is delivered in the packaging form agreed with the Employer but in a way that technically prevents unloading, or threatens the environment, health and life of persons (damaged pallets, damaged and leaking flexible containers, etc.),

b) significant contamination with foreign material that does not have any technological usefulness in the process for which the correct supplied material is used,

c) when it is suspected that material transport is not legal - in particular, this situation applies to the supply of lead material from abroad without relevant documents resulting from the provisions on international shipment of waste.

If the refusal to accept the material relates to material constituting waste imported from abroad, the Contractor and the Ordering Party regarding the complaint procedure or material return are obliged to follow the procedures arising from the provisions on international waste shipment.

The contractor is obliged to provide transport of the subject of the contract in accordance with applicable law. The subject of the order will be delivered by a person with appropriate permissions. The contractor is obliged to provide the transport service of the subject of the contract in accordance with the international convention on the carriage of dangerous goods and dangerous goods by road - ADR. In addition, if the material will have the status of waste, also in accordance with the applicable Act on waste and the applicable Act on Environmental Protection Law, as well as in accordance with other provisions in this respect, in particular in accordance with and applicable Regulation of the Minister of the Environment on detailed requirements for the transport of waste. If the Contractor imports lead-bearing material with waste status from abroad, he is obliged to comply with the requirements set out in Regulation EC No. 1013/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of June 14, 2006 on waste shipments and the applicable Act.
