Sandefjord Airport AS (SLH) shall replace and renovate the ventilation plants in the southern part of the terminal at Torp Sandefjord Airport. A ventilation plant shall be replaced due to the generator's poor condition. A channel system shall be reconstructed for adaptation to the current design and requirement.

The following main measures shall be carried out:

— The current ventilation plant 36.07 serves the departure /arrival hall and various service/business areas and offices in the south wing's ground and first floors. The generator is installed on the south wing's roof for the departure /arrival hall. The capacity of the generator is 30 000 m3 /h. The generator is from 1999, in a poor condition and shall be subject to demolition work. The current generator shall be replaced with 2 new generators; 36.071 and 36.072. The new generators shall be connected to water-borne heating and cooling from the energy central.

— Generator 36.09 with a capacity of 16 000 m3 /h is installed on a ramp against the south wall. The generator is currently serving the ground and first floors of the final construction stage for the south wing. The generator shall in the future only serve the ground floor with bagage handling, rooms for resting and offices. Generator 36.072 shall serve the remaining areas previously served by generator 36.09.

— The channel systems, valves, etc. shall be adapted to the new design and the current requirements.

— The air flow rate in the generators shall be adapted to requirements and controlled by the air's CO 2 content and the temperature in the involved zones.
