Drainage Essen GmbH, represented by Stadtwerke Essen AG, intends to award the following services in Essen-Bredeney: sewer construction work in open and closed construction, reinforced concrete work, earthworks, special civil engineering work (primarily girder pile wall) and surface work.

As part of the construction project "Bredeney Süd 1 (separation system) Part 2, new building RRK and RKB", the construction of a new rain retention channel DN 3600 (approx. 140 m) as well as an upstream rain clarification basin and a throttle structure are planned The discharge channel of the throttle structure (approx. 36 m, DN 1000) will be built using an open construction method and flows into the receiving water in the adjacent wooded area.

Furthermore, the new construction of the parallel sewer pipe (DA 355) and the establishment of the connections for the residential areas to the north and south are planned. A connection is made using the microtunnelling method under compressed air (DN 400).
