The IT Centre function is responsible for ensuring accurate, consistent management information on TPR’s project portfolio is available in a timely manner. This includes reviewing project documentation and providing constructive feedback. Monitoring of project issues and risks is vital so as to support their effective resolution. Additionally, all Internal and External Audit activities will be coordinated and managed.

Responsible for the design, installation, testing and maintenance of software systems. Examples of technical areas are: MS dynamics, Windows Forms, ASP.Net Forms, VB.Net, Business Objects, Web Design, MySQL, Microsoft Access, Visual Basic / VBA / VBScript / ASP.

— use a good understanding of the UK pension system and regulation to design end to end data management aligned to the Target Operating Model (TOM) This will involve ingestion, wrangling, cleansing, managing, handling and exploiting structured / unstructured data / big data and application of suitable advanced techniques,
— use engaging narrative to communicate the best practice use of data to the business. Be able to explain the advantages of complex data-led solutions to business partners,
— provide continuous improvement of established data-led functions,
— producing repeatable data pipelines, version control, testing and performance optimisation,
— update data governance rules onto TPR’s data estate,
— keep abreast of developments in the data field and use this knowledge to drive business decisions,

— develop and enhance TPR as a data-driven business by combining data science capability, with software skills and business knowledge,
