The Contracting Authority requests tenders for a complete system for real-time PCR (sample preparation, extraction, amplification and detection) and presentation of test results. It can be a fully automated, integrated platform or module based with software/middleware.

In-house protocols will not be used.

The system has to fulfil Helse Fonna HF‘s requirement for MRSA rapid diagnostics on inpatients and also have capacity for future increase in volume. It is also desirable that the system are able to detect other pathogenic agents.

A framework agreement for instrument specific reagents/consumables will also be entered into.
