The pigging of the A8 motorway will take place between kilometre markers 52 to 65.6. The purpose of the site is to replace the hydrocarbon coating laid on carpet on the reinforced concrete, this scraping will be done in 2 stages: classic scraping (+- 5cm) then scraping fine drum. The resulting evacuations will be separated.

The reconstruction phase will be done with the installation of a SAMI, an underlay of 5cm and 4cm of carpet. During most of this work, traffic will be diverted in the opposite direction of the highway.

A lane will therefore be guaranteed for motorists coming and going from Brussels.

The site will be divided into 3 phases.

1st phase focusing on the Frasnes interchange,

2nd phase from the Frasnes interchange to the Kain interchange,

3rd phase of a few hundred meters at the junction between the A16 motorway is A8.
