The contract concerns the preparation of the reports "Employment Trends in the Free State of Bavaria" for 2023 and 2024. For this purpose, the contractor must evaluate a total of 1,200 company surveys.

The required data for the establishment panel will be collected by an institute/company (for 2023 and 2024 respectively) commissioned by both the contractor and the IAB.

As described in the specifications, the data are obtained on the one hand from 800 company surveys, which are commissioned and financed by the IAB (basic sample), and on the other hand from 400 company surveys, which are financed by the contractor himself and commissioned by him (top-up sample).

Part of this mandate is therefore also the collection of the top-up sample (including the surveys) for the years 2023 and 2024, whereby the contractor must commission the institute/company commissioned by the IAB (in each case) with the data collection for the establishment panel in its own name and for its own account.

In addition, the contractor must obtain the data of the regional basic data sets of the State of Bavaria from the IAB in exchange for the data from the top-up sample of the State of Bavaria. In doing so, the contractor acts in his own name and for his own account. The client is not a contracting party, he does not provide any data in this respect.

The contractual relationships between the individual actors are outlined in the annex to the specifications.

The contract runs from the date of award of the contract, presumably from May 2023, until all services due have been provided, presumably until

30.09.2025.
