HDO's responsibility covers the operation, maintenance and user support for the services, systems and hardware included in the delivery for the new emergency network. This is seen to by HDO's operational and user support, where central monitoring has been set up for all control rooms (including computer halls) as well as the possibility of remote controlling emergency network related equipment in the control room.
HDO is in the process of procuring and implementing equipment for remote programming for software updates for their Sepura Tetra radios connected to the emergency network for health. The system that shall now be implemented presumes that the equipment is placed in different locations and that it is possible to connect with a centrally placed server at HDO. The server has software for the Sepura Tetra radios. This means that the equipment shall be automatic, without a need to operate a PC etc.
