For this contract, AZ Herentals acts as a purchasing centre within the meaning of Article 47 §2 and Article 129 of the Law of 17 June 2016, which means that AZ Herentals will act in the capacity of contracting authorities on behalf of the various contracting authorities for this contract. The purchasing centre will apply the public procurement procedure according to the instructions and in the name and on behalf of the contracting authorities concerned.
At the end of the procedure, the central purchasing body will award the public contract if consensus has been reached by the contracting authorities. After the award has ended, the contracting authorities themselves must conclude an agreement with the contracting party to whom the public contract was awarded.
The purchasing centre shall be entrusted with the award and conclusion of the current contract in order to meet its own needs as well as those of other contracting authorities. (see assignment documents)
