The aim of the project is to acquire a modern, easy-to-use and reliable application that enables the Forest Centre's efficient off-road work in field inspections related to the implementation of forest laws.
The project is part of the Forest Centre's digital roadmap and a key point in the digitalisation of the Forest Centre's services. The aim of the project is to acquire a modern, easy-to-use and reliable application that enables the Forest Centre's efficient off-road work in field inspections related to the implementation of forest laws.
In the delivery project phase, inspections related to the implementation of the forestry incentive system Metka will be implemented in the inspection application. In the further development phase, inspections related to the implementation of the Forest Act, the Act on Support for Afforestation Aid and moose damage assessments, as well as other possible new inspections due to the implementation of the acts, will be added to the application.
The inspection application must be in use during the 2024 off-road season. The functionalities related to the management of young forests and sanitary fertilisation must be available no later than 31.5.2024 and the functionalities related to the construction of forest roads, environmental support, fire, nature management and swamp forest management must be available no later than 30.9.2024.
