A Call for Tenders Regarding a Contract for a Turnkey Contractor with Interaction in the Early Phase for Engineering Design and Construction of Furuset Hageby [Furuset Garden Village]
Omsorgsbygg Oslo KF (OBY) [the Municipal Undertaking for Social Service Buildings] will develop and build a new garden village for dementia patients on the vacant site BT3, cadastral No/title No 108/11 at Furuset in Oslo; Furuset Hageby [Furuset Garden Village]. As a part of the zoning plan at Furuset, a garden village with 112 nursing home places with a gross area of approx. 13 400 m2 shall be constructed. The zoning plan is subject to public hearing and is expected decided during the first quarter of 2020. The contracting authority reserves the right to alter the number of nursing home places, a plan and design contest was implemented in connection with the zoning plan in order to achieve a solution proposal for the site. The plan and design contest was won by 3RW Arkitekter AS in cooperation with Nord Architects AS and the Municipal Undertaking for Social Service Buildings has entered into a contract with these 2 architect offices for engineering design for architectural services at Furuset hageby in accordance with NS 8401. The project is a FutureBuilt project with very high environmental ambitions.
