Trade tiling work
Rheingoldhallen GmbH and Co KG (short: RGKG), Hechtsheimer Straße 37, 55131 Mainz, is planning the conversion and renovation of the City Hall car park, Rheinstraße 66, 55116 Mainz. This includes, among other things, the establishment of new technical centers, from which the car park is to be supplied independently by the town hall and Rheingoldhalle. Due to the damage patterns, extensive concrete renovation and the renovation of the stairwells are necessary. The internal staircases, stairs, platforms and, in some cases, the adjacent locks must be fitted with new floor coverings. In some areas, a new composite coating must be introduced into the locks.
The car park is located in Mainz right next to the Rheingoldhalle. Access is via Rheinstrasse. The car park was built in the late 1960s as a solid reinforced concrete structure. It has 4 parking levels with a total of 545 parking spaces.
The conversion and renovation of the parking garage will be carried out in a full closure
Construction work is carried out by several trades. Coordination and coordination of the construction process between the contractors is required.
In the course of the conversion and renovation of the parking garage, the following measures are planned and tendered in the tile and slab work trade:
- Clean approx. 450 sqm of existing floor covering with a high-pressure water jet
- Applying a bonding bridge for approx. 450 square meters
- Renew approx. 160 sqm of podium flooring
- Replace the coverings of the stairs, steps and risers approx. 240 m
- Deliver and install approx. 180 St stainless steel edges on the steps
- Deliver and attach approx. 580 m of base plates to landing surfaces and stair runs
- Produce approx. 1250 m of permanently elastic jointing
- Produce approx. 50 sqm composite coating
- Deliver and install approx. 55 sqm of wall tiles
