24-month project to develop LAEP plans and capabilities for achieving Net Zero Oxfordshire by 2040, reducing risks from grid constraints, and potentially embedding LAE Planning into Oxfordshire authorities.
Oxfordshire Local Area Energy Plans (LAEPs). This tender exercise is for a 24 month Future Oxfordshire Partnership (FOP) project delivering two workstreams, to identify the most efficient pathway to deliver a Net Zero Oxfordshire by 2040, and reduce risks deriving for Oxfordshire businesses and communities from grid constraints: • WS1 LAEP Plans: LAEP baseline, scenarios, spatially specific action plans and, if feasible, project pipeline and investment portfolio or the data to feed into a portfolio developed by others. • WS2 LEAP function: Develop new LAEP capabilities and corresponding business case, able to navigate the impacts of grid constraints, coordinate the Net Zero project delivery pipeline and, if business case is approved, embed LAE Planning into Oxfordshire authorities in the long-term.
