Renovation of Blankenburg Small Castle (Harz) 4th - 7th construction phase, project planning buildings and outdoor facilities (outdoor facilities) LPH 1 - 8 and other special services

The Blankenburg Baroque Gardens are among the most beautiful gardens in Germany and are part of the “Garden Dreams” initiative in Saxony-Anhalt.
As visitor numbers increase and the associated further demand for tourist services, the city of Blankenburg (Harz) intends to continue the renovation and conversion of the entire Small Castle complex with side wings that has begun.
In the 4th BA, it is planned to continue the renovation work from the 3rd BA. Creation of the usability of the orangery with its outbuildings as accommodation and work space for the gardeners of the baroque gardens and as a winter quarter for mobile plants.
After the new entrance level and hall level in the Kleine Schloss have already been renovated and converted, the expansion of the exhibition space requires the renovation and completion of the rooms on the 2nd floor as part of the 5th BA. The installation of a passenger lift should also give people with disabilities the opportunity to reach the planned exhibition spaces on the 2nd floor. In order to preserve the historic main building, the sandstone façade as well as the windows and lead coverings of the gables must also be renovated; this work is planned as part of the 6th BA.
The southeast wing of the Small Palace is to be thoroughly renovated and reused as part of the 7th BA. One conceivable use would be to promote the currently booming cycle tourism as a target group with an offer.

Commissioning is carried out individually for each construction phase and in stages. The client first transfers work phases 1 - 3 to the contractor individually for each construction phase and, after approval of the funding, the work phases 4 - 8. The transfer is made by written notification.
Contract duration:
subject to the granting of funding and approval of the further service phases and construction phases, expected in 2028
