A design and build contractor is required to deliver Barnsley College's proposed Construction Centre and Sixth Form Campus projects. The projects are located on two separate sites within close proximity of the Church Street campus. Both projects must be open for September 2015 in line with the funder's requirements (Skills Funding Agency).

The construction centre will provide circa 5,500 sqm of modern teaching facilities for bricklaying, plastering, painting and decorating on the college's existing Honeywell campus adjacent to the recently completed Think Low Carbon centre.

The Sixth form campus is circa 7,500 sqm on a high profile site adjacent to the Town Hall in Barnsley town centre.The new building will consolidate the College's existing 6th Form offering and will have close links with other college facilities.
