Institute of Marine Research wishes to procure software for a network of marine collections in Norway, MarBankNet. The software must be able to handle all physical samples and associated information from fieldwork sampling to further processing, storage, and internal/external distribution of samples (support all the phases of sample transfer from preparation to generating shipment logs). Investigator returned results, i.e. results generated and reported from research on biobank samples, shall also be handled by the software.

The software must handle all kinds of documents associated with the operation of the biobank, incl. photo archives, sampling permits, material transfer agreements (MTAs), links to or copies of methods/Standard operating procedures (SOPs) etc.
