Vestvågøy Municipality, which is the contracting authority, invites tenderers to an open tender contest without negotiations in connection with the replacement of company vehicles and vehicle administration.

The vehicles will be procured to carry out municipal services within the sector Health and mastering. Vestvågøy Municipality, which has approx. 11,500 inhabitants, is characterised topographically by changing terrain, partially geographically dispersed settlements and a changing, partly wet and rough climate.

Vestvågøy Municipality is continuing electrifying its vehicles and would like written tenders for 6 new electric vehicles with 4WD, which shall function as a part of the municipal health and mastering services. The vehicles will be used year round on all municipal roads. This means that the vehicles must be reliable in the winter on snow and icy roads as well as in poor snow clearing, and on all types of roads where inhabitants live.

Vestvågøy municipality already has 24 electric vehicles in operational service. The aim of this procurement is to further increase the proportion of electric vehicles in its vehicle fleet. The replacement involves the tender offer including the replacement of 9 petrol vehicles of the type Opel Corsa, 2016 model and 1 Fiat 500, 2011 model.
