Pollution remediation and demolition work.

The "Old Town Hall" in Rheinberg is to be rebuilt according to a usage concept newly developed by the City of Rheinberg. In advance, dismantling and gutting work must be carried out in various areas of the building.

As part of a pollutant investigation, various pollutants built into the building were identified. The dismantling in connection with the required demolition work is carried out according to a technical renovation concept.

The pollutants present are asbestos, pcb-contaminated materials, pak-contaminated materials and so-called "old mineral wool" that was used as insulation.

- 155 m 2 Demolition of floor flex panels (containing asbestos),

- 430 m 2 Demolition of topsoil,

- 340 m 2 Demolition of kmf-containing grid ceilings,

- 160 m 2 Demolition of other suspended ceilings,

- 260 m 2 Demolition of drywall construction,

- 1 275 m 2 Removing wallpaper,

- 410 m demolition of old heating pipes, some of them contain kmf,

- 30 St. demolition radiators, seals containing asbestos,

- 34 St. demolition doors (partly containing asbestos).
