Basic maintenance of one 220 kV 31.5 MVA transformer at the Utsjoki transformer substation, including drying. The project also includes the addition of a transformer's fault-generated gas analyzer with fiber optic cable connections and the replacement of the transformer's 20kV surge protectors.
The supplier can carry out maintenance either on site or take the transformer for maintenance elsewhere.
The procurement includes the basic maintenance of one 220 kV 31.5 MVA transformer at the Utsjoki substation and its equipment for operation and commissioning.
At the same time, the transformer's 20 kV surge protectors with their terminals and grounding arrangements will be replaced. For the installation of new surge protectors, old racks are used. The new surge protectors and their connectors will be purchased by the customer, but their transport is part of the scope of this contract.
The work is one total contract. The procurement includes deliveries in accordance with the procurement programme, technical specifications and other supporting documents, together with the necessary documents. The scope includes:
- All necessary design, disassembly of the transformer for maintenance and basic maintenance with LFH drying.
- After maintenance, the transformer will be fully equipped with new signals and commissioned in Utsjoki at the time specified in the schedule.
- Design and installation of the installation of renewable surge protectors in accordance with FG's current practices.
The transformer will be equipped with a new fault gas analyzer (Vaisala MHT410 or equivalent) during basic maintenance.
All additional work must be agreed in advance with the client. If no unit price has been given for the additional work in the tender, the price of the additional work must also be agreed before the work begins. Replacing parts with a different one from the previous one must be approved by the customer in advance.
The total outage time for the Utsjoki PM1 conversion is 12.8.2024 (week 33)... 24.10.2024 (week 43). The schedule shown below is tied to this interruption period.
Basic maintenance of PM1 transformer:
- The transformer will be de-energized from 12.8.2024.
- The removal of surge protectors, set beams and drainage of transformer oil and subsequent transfer from its foundation may begin on 12.8.2024.
- The commissioning of the transformer is 24.10.2024 (included in the scope of this contract).
For work requiring an outage, any changes to the outage times will be agreed between the client and the supplier at least two weeks before the intended outage time. However, the subscriber has the right to postpone interruptions with one week's notice without a cost impact, if the connection situation of the network and the power transmission in the network so require.
All document updates must be made and the documents delivered to the client before the approved receipt of the work (in practice, changes to the transformer circuit diagrams, station circuit diagrams and main diagrams caused by the condition monitoring device, possible additional measurements and surge protector replacements).
The display of the work item is agreed upon if necessary. We kindly ask bidders to inform us of their wish to explore the property in advance, Antti Tuovinen, tel. 040 068 6916.
