Operational Support Vehicles Programme Team (OSVP) part of the Defence Equipment and Support Organisation (DE&S) within the UK Ministry Of Defence, has a requirement to procure Contractor Logistic Support (CLS) for Protected Engineering Equipment.

The Protected Engineering fleet consists of four existing in-service equipment platforms.

Ultra Light Weight Tractor (Protected) (UWLT(P))

Make/Model — Caterpillar 257

Light wheeled Tractor (Protected) (LWT(P))

Make/Model — Caterpillar 434

Medium Wheeled Tractor (Protected) (MWT(P))

Make/Model — Caterpillar 938

Self Loading Dump Truck (Protected) (SLDT(P))

Make/Model — IVECO Tracker

The requirement shall provide Contractor Logistic Support (CLS) to twelve Protect Plant (three from each platform) to support training fleet within the UK. CLS is to include but not be limited to: repair and maintenance (including provision of spares), safety updates and transportation of equipment.

There is also a provision to repair 7 Protected Plant returning from theatre.

Contract duration shall be for 6 and half years with an option to extend the contract for up to a further 2 years.

The selection of winning Tenderer shall be via Most Economic Advantageous Tender (MEAT).
