Objective

The contracting authority would like to enter into parallel framework agreements with one to three tenderers, if there is a sufficient number of qualified tenders, to cover the contracting authority's ongoing needs for interpretation and translation services. Municipal organisations that need interpreters includes: health centres, general practitioners,child welfare, adult education, NAV, crisis centre, accident and emergency units, schools, nursery schools, care institutions etc. The basic language subject to interpretation is to/from Norwegian.

The municipalities’ different organisations have different needs in relation to interpretation methods (telephone, in person, written translation). In some circumstances emergency assignments may be relevant.

The scope and duration of the assignments vary. The interpretation services must be provided to all units in the participating municipalities.

Value

The estimated annual value of the contract is approx. NOK 2,550,000 excluding VAT, divided into NOK 2,300,000 excluding VAT for Indre Østfold municipality, NOK 250,000 excluding VAT for Rakkestad municipality, and NOK 50,000 excluding VAT for Marker municipality.

The framework agreement has a maximum upper limit, including options to a total of NOK 11,000,000 excluding VAT.

The values are estimates based on statistics and obtained information. These are only estimates that are intended to give the tenderers an indication of the scope of the agreement. The scope may vary during the agreement period. The scope in the contract period will depend on, amongst other things, activities, budget situation and other framework factors.

The contracting authority is not bound by the stated estimates/values.
