A competition was announced for a modern medical computer programme which can be integrated with the other patient related computer programmes that the hospital uses. The new programme shall be able to:

— Contribute to quicker patient registration;

— Improve the overview of the patient administration;

— Improve the overview of families' medical history;

— Achieve agreement between the medical genetics computer programme and genealogical table;

— Reduce incorrect data input;

— Permit statistical analyses of activities;

— Facilitate better security in the systems;

— Facilitate increased research activity;

— Facilitate national and international cooperation;

— The competition was published in Mercell 24.9.2015.

At the tender deadline, 2.11.2015, 12:00, no tender offers had been received and the competition was therefore cancelled on 16.11.2015.
