A feasibility study with a cost estimate for the expansion of the sites using PV systems was prepared for the Othmarsingen and Brugg sites. At both locations, the aim is to fully expand using PV systems. As part of the planning / installation of the PV systems, extensive roof renovations as well as the area supply are to be planned and implemented.

Charging stations for e-mobility are also to be planned and implemented as part of the two projects.

Furthermore, an in-depth variant study for energy storage using battery storage must be carried out in phase 31.

A general planner for SIA phases 31 – 53 for both locations will be commissioned with the following procurement. The total costs of the measures, including battery storage, amount to around CHF 12.8 million.
