All-risk property insurance (hereinafter referred to as "property insurance") and loss of earnings insurance in the form of additional fire cost insurance (hereinafter referred to as "loss of earnings insurance"). The sum insured of the property insurance at replacement value is around EUR 4.97 billion (according to the value surcharge 2023), the sum insured of the loss of earnings insurance is EUR 50 million as a fixed sum insured (at first risk) for a 12-month liability period.

The subject of the award is all-risk property insurance and loss of earnings insurance in the form of additional fire cost insurance for BER Airport for the years 2024 to 2027.

The contract will initially run for one year and will begin on January 1, 2024. The contract shall be extended by a further year after the expiry of the contract period, unless it is terminated in writing with a notice period of 6 months to the respective expiry. However, the maximum contract term is 4 years, so that the contractual relationship ends at the end of 31.12.2027 at the latest.

The sum insured of the property insurance at replacement value is around EUR 4.97 billion (according to the value surcharge 2023), the sum insured of the loss of earnings insurance is EUR 50 million as a fixed sum insured (at first risk) for a 12-month liability period.

The total sum insured of the property insurance includes all buildings at BER Airport as well as the complete property portfolio of the "old Schönefeld Airport". It is therefore the entire operational property of BER Airport.

Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH, 12521 Berlin, including all existing and newly added subsidiaries, is insured.
