DPC intends to engage in a competitive process to procure dredging services using a Multi-Party Framework Agreement to maintain their operational marine areas. This is referred to as the Dublin Port Dredging Framework (DPDF) and is being established and operated in accordance with the EU Utilities Directive Dir.2014/25/EC and the associated Irish Statutory Instrument, SI 286 of 5th May 2016 implementing that Directive with binding force specificity, precision and clarity, in accordance with Irelands obligations under the EU Treaty.

The framework will be established based on firms meeting the minimum requirements of the selection criteria and submitting a viable cost proposal. There is also an initial contract. Tenderers should note they can tender for a place on the framework with or without submitting a tender for the initial contract. The initial contract will be awarded based on responses to the cost and qualitative award criteria defined for the initial contract.
