The acquisition shall be subject to material to be obtained in the libraries of members of the Central Finland Procurement Ring in accordance with this call for tender and its annexes. Contracting entities belonging to the procurement ring are described in paragraph 1.1 of this call for tender.

The acquisition includes literature excluding newspapers and magazines and electronic materials. In addition, audiobooks, music recordings, sheet music and other materials are included in the acquisition, as well as services relating to all procurement materials, to the extent that they fall within the bidders' range.

The acquisition is described in more detail in the attachments to the call for tender.

The purpose of this call for tender is to form a framework arrangement for the selection of all tenderers meeting the minimum requirements set out in this call for tender and its annexes.

At the beginning of the contract period, contracting entities will take access to an electronic service, the so-called procurement portal, through which they will access selectable literature, make selections and order the material. During the contract period, the portal may also be used to purchase other material. In addition to literature, each procurement entity independently decides which materials it will purchase through the portal.
