After the collapse of the parking garage in Eindhoven in May 2017 and the announcement of the causes in September 2017, the Broad Slab Floors Programme of the Central Government Real Estate Agency started making an inventory of wide slab floors in the building portfolio. Wide slab floors have been used in many government and defence buildings, including the Eurojust building in The Hague. The programme team carried out evaluations on the first wide slab floor repair projects. For the report see: '20230522_Lessons learned BPV recovery projects Final'. These evaluations have led, among other things, to a different approach for the present project than the previous wide slab floor repair projects. The intended approach was discussed with the market prior to the publication of this assignment by means of a market consultation. See 'Report market consultation BPV Eurojust v1.0'.
