The CLZ is a broad school community with approximately 1,400 students on the Lindenlaan in Zeist. The main building is a monument and dates from 1920 and has subsequently been given several non-monumental extensions at the rear. These extensions are in need of a thorough renovation.

During the renovation, bottlenecks will be tackled to increase the unity of the school building and to make the building more sustainable and equipped with air treatment.

Spread over the basement and two floors, approximately 4,500 m2 GFA will be renovated and added in the first and second construction phases. In the third construction phase, ventilation will be installed in the monumental part of the building and it will be partly renovated. The GFA of the monumental part

of the property is 5,100 m2. The renovation literally and figuratively creates air and space for all users. The layout of the school will be more spacious and the building part will be provided with air treatment.
