The subject of the contract is the provision of winter maintenance of sidewalks, parking bays and post-winter cleaning of sidewalks, parking bays at the request of the Ordering Party in the city of Skarżysko – Kamienna

The service consists in snow removal, preventing slipperyness, eliminating slippery slopes in areas that are the subject of the contract. In exceptional situations, the services will be extended to snow removal. The contractor selected in the tender will be obliged to carry out works based on the applicable regulations

Detailed scope of the item of the order:

1. Cleaning the surface of sidewalks across the entire width;

2. Snow scraping;

3. Elimination of slipperiness, glaciation, black ice, slush slippery and slush;

4. Removal of excess snow at the request of the Ordering Party;

As part of the contract, the Contractor assumes the obligation to perform the winter maintenance of sidewalks, i.e. to:

1. several times thoroughly scooping snow and slush, sprinkling with roughening material and removing on an ongoing basis from the pavement surface with a width of at least 1.5 m of snow and slush so as to prevent leaving an uncompacted (spreading) layer of snow hindering the movement of pedestrians - with simultaneous or separate occurrence of weather factors: precipitation, wind

and slipperiness, leading to clearing of snow and slush of pavements immediately after the cessation of precipitation;

2. in the absence of snowfall at simultaneous temperatures below 00C or positive temperatures during the day and negative at night. As part of the service, the Contractor is obliged to systematically clean the surface of the layer of snow or slush left after precipitation by removing the carved layer, thus preventing the formation of a glaciated, compacted and frozen to the surface layer of ice

The scope concerns in particular:

1. Winter sidewalk maintenance

2. Winter maintenance of parking bay parking lots

3. Removal of excess snow

4. Post-winter cleaning of sidewalks, parking bays

A detailed range of areas intended for winter maintenance and snow removal is set out in Annex 11.
