Description:
Pipe construction BA1 connection line Voerde-Friedrichsfeld

The Lower Rhine district heating system is expanding its district heating network in Voerde. In this context, the district heating networks of Voerde-Stadt and Voerde-Friedrichsfeld are to be connected. The network connection will be established over a total distance of approx. 4,700 m in two sections. The district heating pipeline must be laid in DN 250/450 (reinforced once) and is accompanied by a DN 100 plastic cable protection pipe. The first section will be approximately 2,200 m long and the second section will be approximately 2,500 m long. The section described here is the first and is referred to below as BA I.

To Friedhofstr. House 52, the connecting line to Friedrichsfeld has already been brought forward and this will be the starting point of this BA. From house 52, the line is moved further along Friedhofstr., in the right part of the road, in a northern direction to Rönskenstr. At the end of Fridhofstr., the route leads left into Rönskenstr. The transfer will be west on the right side of the road. At the end of Rönskenstr., the route meets Hammweg. The Hammweg is to be pressed through with two DN 600 and one DN 150 (control cable) steel pipe as a thermowell with an overlap of 1.50m.

The route tour runs along the Heideweg to the Kiwitt an der Grenzstr. The Zeelink natural gas pipeline is crossed in the middle of the heath path. For the junction of the natural gas pipeline, a DN 500 PE-HD cable must be laid as a protective pipe using the drilling fluid process. The product tube is then retracted into the PE-HD thermowell and closed at the ends. In addition, a DN 100 PE-HD cable must be flushed for the control cable.

The corner of Heideweg and Border Str. in Kiwitt industrial park will be the handover point for the second section (BA II), for which there is a separate call for tenders.
