Subsequently, the city of Sjorring will be converted to district heating with a new distribution network.

The heat production in Thisted is primarily based on renewable energy from geothermal, straw and waste. With the establishment of a supply pipeline from Thisted via Thorsted to Sjorring, Thisted Varmeforsyning can ensure high security of supply and supply environmentally friendly district heating to consumers in Sjorring in the future.

An approx. 9.5 km supply pipeline will be established from Thisted Varmeforsyning's existing pump house at Flintborgvej in Thisted to the location of the pump house in Sjørring on the corner of Vorupørvej and Svalegårdsvej.
