The procurement concerns a framework agreement for the purchase of electric power to the municipalities and companies in the Kongsvinger region.

The contracting authority wants tender offers for a framework agreement for the purchase of electric power to the client's buildings and facilities. As part of the assignment, the service provider will prepare proposals for a purchasing and hedging strategy for the individual client with the aim of optimising purchasing of electricity to the portfolio with a goal of reducing costs and at the same time creating economic predictability. The strategy that forms the basis for the purchase of electricity will be determined by the client. It is emphasised that it is the service provider who is the client's counterpart against hedging, the clients or the contracting authority will not be a clearing client on Nasdaq OMX.

Based on the 2019 consumption, the client's total consumption was approx. 57 GWh/year. The total value of the procurement over four years is estimated to be approx. NOK 115 million-NOK 120 million excluding VAT. The value includes calculated purchase of power and the service provider's mark-up for administration, but not grid hire.
