OFG shall enter into framework agreements for deliveries to the School Fruit Scheme for the period 1.7.2018 - 30.6.2020.
Tenderers shall deliver ready-to-eat, first-class fruit and vegetables to the primary and secondary schools that shall receive School fruit. Tenderers must be able to delivery fruit/vegetables within at least one of the following 2 categories:
— Preferably conventional fruit/veg: Deliveries of only conventional fruit/veg, or deliveries of conventional fruit/veg with some organic fruit/veg.
— Only organic fruit/veg: Only deliveries of organic fruit/veg.
NB: The estimated total value describes a potential (price + subsidy) over 2 years if all the pupils in Norwegian primary and secondary schools get fruit on 180 days over the course of 1 year (629,000 pupils x 180 days x 4.09 x 2): 926 000 000 NOK. A more realistic level is a turnover of approx. 10 % of this, approx. 93 000 000 NOK over 2 years.
Tenderers shall deliver ready-to-eat, first-class fruit and vegetables to the primary and secondary schools that shall receive School Fruit.
OFG would like to enter into 2 framework agreements for the delivery of preferably conventional fruit/veg and one framework agreement for the delivery of only organic fruit/veg, in each of the country´s counties, provided that a sufficient number of tenders are received within each of the categories.
Each county is divided into two delivery areas, area 1 and area 2, see the overview in Annex 4. The tenderer that is ranked as nº 1 in the category preferably conventional fruit/veg will be awarded a framework agreement as the primary supplier in delivery area no. 1 (and the secondary supplier in delivery area nº 2), whilst the tenderer ranked as nº 2 will be awarded a framework agreement as the primary supplier in delivery area nº 2 (and the secondary supplier in delivery area nº 1). The tenderer that is ranked as nº 1 in the category only organic fruit/veg will be awarded a framework agreement that covers the entire county (both delivery areas) (read more in the tender documentation).
