The Creative City project aims to develop art and culture-appropriate strategies, instruments and implementations for the inner city of Oberhausen to promote the settlement of cultural or creative entrepreneurs in the central inner city area, to build a start-up landscape and to make Oberhausen's city centre perceptible as an experience space. The overall concept includes management components, real-world laboratories, concepts, campaigns, schools, feasibility studies and the creation of experience venues for the creative industries and the creative exchange of all involved inner-city actors.
