Bergen kommune (Bergen municipality) will implement an inter-municipal procurement of localisation technology together with and on behalf of multiple municipalities, as well as two nursing homes (hereafter called the Contracting Authority). A 2-year framework agreement is planned, with an option for 2 years with one tenderer. The Contracting Authorities will sign separate contracts.
The assignment comprises:
— localisation devices that can cover different needs;
— localisation application;
— administration system.
The contracting authority will offer flexible localisation technology solutions for persons who have
— orientation difficulties;
— the desire and need to be both more independent and more active outside and who are not able to give warnings in any other manner when needing assistance.
Some of the contracting authorities also want the contract to cover mobile safety alarms. Since some of the contracting authorities already have such contract, this will be included as an option.
Digital transformation is one of the policy instruments for reaching the targets in Bergen Municipality 2030. The goal of digital transformation is stipulated in Digital agenda, White Paper 27 (2015-2016) and in the City Council case 1124/17, Digitalisation and innovation in Bergen Municipality, as well as City Council case 1212/18 Establishment of a programme for digital renewal and implementation of a channel strategy for Bergen Municipality.
The programme for digital renewal will facilitate a general and systematic approach to the digitalisation of Bergen Municipality, which will give better integration and predictability for future and existing digitalisation projects.
