regiobus Hannover GmbH is a public transport company in and for the Hanover region. Together with other transport companies, regiobus Hannover GmbH operates local public transport in the transport association "Großraum-Verkehr Hannover" (GVH). regiobus Hannover GmbH was founded in 1998 from the merger of three transport companies and one service company. regiobus Hannover GmbH is spread over six locations with the administration in Hanover and the depots in Burgdorf, Mellendorf, Neustadt am Rbge., Wunstorf and Eldagsen. The company employs around 800 people. With almost 400 vehicles used in regular service (260 of which are own), approximately 28 million passengers are transported annually.
In order to provide its services, regiobus Hannover GmbH also makes use of other bus companies, which currently operate 130 vehicles for regiobus Hannover GmbH in suburban transport in the Hanover region. About one third of the mileage is provided by 6 companies, which together achieve a mileage of 7.4 million company car kilometers per year.
Since regiobus Hannover GmbH is a sector client within the meaning of procurement law, the uniforms must be advertised regularly. The subject-matter of the present award procedure is the supply of uniforms for mobile workers. The contractor is to supply the uniforms for regiobus Hannover GmbH and its subcontractors for a total of around 950 employees. The drivers should be able to order the uniforms themselves via an "online shop" of the contractor. The clothing is then to be delivered to the companies of regiobus Hannover GmbH and to the subcontractors on certain dates.

The contract will be awarded as a framework agreement with the contractor with a term from 01.01.2024 to 31.12.2025 with the double option of extension by 1 year each by the client. Framework agreements allow contracting entities to bundle specific contracts in a single procurement procedure. Framework agreements are therefore more efficient than conducting a separate award procedure for several specific contracts. It is also characteristic of framework agreements that, in principle, they do not contain a purchase obligation, but grant the client a unilateral option which it can call up if necessary, but does not have to call up without one.
