The contract covers the water distribution, operation and maintenance of the water network of the Rungis International Market to ensure the continuity of service with obligation of result on the potability and availability of water as well as the performance of the network. The latter was created in 1969.

As of 31/12/2022, the length of the network is approximately 47.5 kml. The volume of water consumed in 2022 is 504,000 m3.

The purchase of water for the supply of the MIN is the financial responsibility of SEMMARIS, the company responsible for the management and development of the Rungis International Market. The number of subscribers on the RUNGIS MIN is about 1,500 including about 260 GEMMARIS subscriptions.

The services cover the distribution of water, the operation and maintenance of all the network's installations: the entire network, strategic valves, discharges and suction cups, valves, disconnectors, intrusion alarm systems, Kapta water quality probes.

In particular, the Holder will be in charge of meter maintenance, leak searches, annual visual meter readings, meter readings in the entrance chambers, quarterly remote readings of all meters for transmission to SEMMARIS and their billing by SEMMARIS, water quality monitoring, etc. SEMMARIS is responsible for billing water to subscribers.

The contract also includes a non-potable water pumping station on the Rungis MIN for a maximum consumption of 16,000 m3/year. The services cover the operation of pumping and non-potable water distribution installations as well as the maintenance and renewal of spare parts, including monthly monitoring of consumption.

The provisional services of preventive, corrective and curative maintenance as well as the operation of the water network, are as follows:

- Ensure at all points and at all times the distribution of water on the IMN;

- Ensure the continuity of the service with obligation of result on the potability and availability of water and the performance of the network;

- Maintenance and operation of the monthly, quarterly and annual network and the non-potable water pumping station with maintenance and repair;

- Maintenance and updating of a GIS;

- Repair of leaks;

- Monthly water quality control campaign by handing over bacteriological water analyses;

- Monthly support of consumption readings for each purchase meter of the network, at a rate of about 8 units;

- Management of the meter fleet (about 1500 units including 260 SEMMARIS meters dedicated to the MIN of RUNGIS), including maintenance. Any renewal of the meters is the responsibility of SEMMARIS by applying the prices provided to the UPS;

- Management of the remote reading system of all meters, including maintenance, operation of the system, with daily update of the meter base. Reinforcement and extension as needed;

- Maintenance, servicing and regulatory control of fleet disconnectors with delivery of conformity sheets (about 60 units);

- Quarterly transmission to SEMMARIS of data for billing of subscribers;

- Comparison of indexes in visual readings and remote readings in the first 2 months of each year as well as the control of the proper functioning of the meters;

- Annual campaign of control and maintenance of strategic valves with submission of a detailed report about 24 units;

- Annual campaign of control and maintenance of non-return valves with delivery of a detailed report about 80 units;

- Annual campaign of control and maintenance of landfills and suction cups with submission of a detailed report (about 30 units);

- Support for maintenance, extension, renewal, intrusion alarm systems and access to rooms B1 – B2 – B3 and B10 including the pumping station for non-potable water;

- Maintenance, extension, renewal of KAPTA water quality probe systems B1 – B2 – B3 – F5C with annual report.
