Godt Vann Drammensregionen ‘Good Water Drammen Region‘ is a collaboration between 8 municipalities (Røyken, Hurum and Lier via Viva IKS, Drammen, Modum, Nedre Eiker, Svelvik and Øvre Eiker), as well as Glitrevannverket IKS. In 2009 the municipalities entered into individual agreements with 2 different companies for the transport, treatment and disposal of sewage sludge from the region’s sewage treatment plants. The period of the agreements is until 1.7.2018 and the participating municipalities have implemented a tender contest for new agreements with effect from 1.7.2018. The contract partner is Lindum AS and the agreements include an option for reception of septic sludge.
