In addition to compliance with the specified concrete recipes and installation conditions, the following measures must be implemented to ensure that the flow barriers / geotechnical structures mentioned above are created in accordance with quality:
- geotechnical measurements underground;
- design calculations of the flow barriers;
- Laboratory and control tests on drill cores and building material samples.
The work is carried out according to the following procedure:
After determining the location for the flow barrier, geotechnical investigations, drilling core extraction for mountain assessment, determination of the porosity and degree of fracture are carried out. Depending on the results obtained and the model expectations, comparison from measurement 2008 - 2020, a test scope for short-time voltage measurements and permeability measurements is determined and carried out. A multiple expansion of the scope of the test is likely due to the unpredictable mountain conditions.
On the basis of the results obtained, a design calculation with reporting is carried out with the information on the refurbishment / improvement or re-cutting of the locations to create the minimum requirements for the quality-assured manufacture of the structures. Here, too, the requirements from the model considerations are taken as a basis.
After the construction of the structures, drill cores and material samples are obtained to determine quality assurance and to determine the replacement compaction module value and are sampled in long-term laboratory tests. The results are summarized and handed over in final reports.
The work to be carried out extends to different areas of activity and requires different requirements for the personnel and the laboratory equipment. Different specialist lots are therefore formed and queried, which can be offered individually, in total or in combination. The following professionals are implemented:
1. Geotechnical measurements underground,
2. Design consideration of the flow barrier with implementation recommendation,
3. Laboratory and material examinations with determination of characteristic values and report generation.
Lot 1 underground geotechnical measurements to assess the locations for flow barriers The flow barriers to be erected are intended to prevent the solutions and access water squeezed out of other mines by mountain convergence from continuously flowing through the storage chambers with their waste, mobilizing and removing nuclides.
Lot 2 design consideration of the flow barrier with implementation recommendation within the scope of this service agreement, the results of the site surveys (lot 1) are summarized and evaluated in geotechnical site reports taking into account further data provided by the client (e.g. results of convergence measurements).
Lot 3 laboratory and material examinations with determination of characteristic values and compilation of comparative reports.
By means of flow barriers to be erected, the solutions squeezed out of other mines by mountain convergence are to be prevented from continuously flowing through the emplacement chambers with their waste, mobilizing and removing nuclides.
