Neubrandenburger Stadtwerke GmbH (neu.sw) intend to set up a power-to-heat system (PtH system) with the associated ancillary systems at the site of the Neubrandenburg thermal power station. The PtH plant will be built with approx. 30 MWel. For this it is necessary to redesign the previous 110 kV grid connection of the entire location.
The scope of services includes deliveries and services for a gas-insulated switchgear 110-kV and a 110 / 10.5-kV transformer consisting of implementation planning, delivery, installation, documentation and commissioning.

The scope of services includes deliveries and services for a gas-insulated switchgear 110-kV consisting of implementation planning, delivery, installation, documentation and commissioning. The 110-kV gas-insulated switchgear replaces the overhead line double-branch connection currently available at the site in a new configuration of line fields and transformer fields, similar to an H circuit.

If necessary, the new 33BAT10 transformer must be able to fulfill several purposes:
Normal operation: Power supply of 3 10 kV electrode boilers of a power-to-heat system. The total installed capacity is 30 MW. The electrical start and stop gradient is 0.33-0.66% of the controllable power in operation.
Fault reserve of existing block transformers: In the event of a fault / failure of one of the existing block transformers 31 / 32BAT10, the new transformer should be able to take over the function of the block transformer.
