FruitThe agreement is primarily aimed at clients in catering operations that produce and serve a large number of meals per day.
Contracting authorities: Umeå Municipality, Bjurholm Municipality, Nordmaling Municipality, Robertsfors Municipality, Vännäs Municipality and Vindeln Municipality.
The number of ordering units may be reduced and added during the contract period. Umeå municipality aims to increase the proportion of organic food. Umeå municipality is also certified as a Fairtrade City and works actively to increase the proportion of Fairtrade products.
It will be possible to purchase food up to the direct procurement limit during the contract period to support smaller food producers in Västerbotten. Purchases are per year and per product group fruit, vegetables and processed products
