Description:
Project to install lithium-ion battery electricity storage systems at EDF PEI's thermal power plants in Reunion Island, Guadeloupe and Corsica.

The scope of the services covers studies, design, supply, delivery, supervision of assembly and connection, operation and maintenance, up to three Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

This contract covers studies, design, manufacturing, factory testing, transport, on-site delivery, supervision of assembly and connection, commissioning, and operation and maintenance over the lifetime of the installations.

The equipment covered by this contract includes:

- Battery modules in containerized solution,

- The ventilation and air conditioning system of these speakers

- The associated fire protection system (NFPA 855 standard and UL9540A test protocol required),

- Reversible inverters,

- Electrical transformers, and associated RMUs if applicable,

- The BESS I&C as well as the Energy Management System (EMS).

The installation will have to meet the performance requirements of the network operator which are specified in its specifications available online via the following link: https://reunion.edf.fr/sites/sei_reu/ files/2023-07/2023_06_SEI_Ref46_CCTP_Stockage.pdf.

The electrical power of each BESS will be 5MW, and a useful storage capacity of 10 MWh will have to be guaranteed over the lifetime. A service life of 15 years is required after the date of contractual acceptance of the installed system.

All the material and performance guarantees over the life of the aforementioned fifteen years must be provided.
