The Helios Klinikum Meiningen is planning an expansion and modernization of the central pharmacy by two extensions in solid construction made of reinforced concrete with a total gross floor area of 820m². These are single-storey, without basement and should contain a modern GMP area, as well as the picking of the central pharmacy.
The existing heat generation is to be replaced by bivalent heating and cooling. The plan is to install a reversibly operable chiller for heating and cooling for a ventilation and air-conditioning system and a small number of existing heating surfaces. The services also include buffer tanks, fittings, pumps and pressure maintenance of the system. Installation of the chiller is carried out on the roof of a single-storey building. The existing boiler will be replaced by a modern gas condensing boiler, which will support the heat generation of the heat pump at peak load times.
Characteristics of the system:
Capacity gas condensing boiler 75 kW
Cooling capacity chiller: 82 kW
Power in heat pump mode: 54 kW
Part of the services is a partial dismantling of the previous heat generation (gas boiler 45 kW) and parts of the system that are no longer needed (radiators, fittings, pipes).
